Responsibilities and Duties
1 REPORTING Responsible for internal AOS and local statutory financial reporting, customs, tax, and other governmental reporting as required
2 Provide sales and margin reporting and analysis by region, customer, and model
3 Establish Cost Center reporting as needed
4 Provide expense reporting by cost center to the management staff
5 Provide expense and profitability reporting by region, customer, cost center and channel
6 Support SBU reporting efforts
7 Ensure reporting is timely, accurate and relevent
8 Liaise as needed with governmental authorities, auditors and consultants for accounting, customs and tax matters
9 Responsible to maintain good relationships with the local authorities
10 Work with and support APAC headquarters as needed to identify and satisfy operational and reporting needs
11 BUDGET & Responsible for company financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis
12       ANALYSIS Report variances versus Budget/ Plan to management staff monthly
13 Provide financial analysis support to the director and management staff
14 Provide analyticval support to the Vietnam Director
15 Work closely with other department, such as the Sales Department and provide guidance and support to manage associated costs and margins more effectively
16 Perform ad-hoc projects and some other assignments whenever needed
17 CASH MGMT Responsible for cash management of the Vietnam operation.
18 Ensure the operation has adequate but not excess funding
19 Ensure financial assets including cash are properly safeguarded
20 Ensure vendors are paid according to terms and customers pay according to terms
21 Maintain banking relationships
22 CONTROLS AND Ensure effective implementation of and compliance with financial controls and procedures.
23    COMPLIANCE Responsible for ensuring there are effective financial processes
24 Work closely with the director in the review and administration of contracts, legal matters, import matters and risk management policies
25 Ensure accounting books have clear “audit trail” of how entries are made and data is processed
26 Work with tax consultant or outside firm to ensure all reporting requirments are known and performed
27 SOFTWARE and IT Identify and implement an appropriate PC-based Accounting system for AOS in Vietnam
28 Become proficient in the software
29 Ensure system generates clear and regular reports with clear “audit trail”
30 Install and implement for AOS-VN in Q1 2018
1 Bachelor degree or above in Finance & Accounting or equivalent
2 Possess Chief Accountant Qualification
3 Versed in both oral and written English, with more emphasis on the written
4 Can work with English or bi-lingual financials
5 Possessing Peachtree or similar PC-based accounting software knowledge would be helpful
6 Knowledge of local tax and financial reporting requirements
7 CPA (e.g., ACCA, CPA Australia, AICPA) qualification would be an advantage
8 Big 4 or audit firm experience would be an advantage
9 Good interpersonal and communication skill, team management experience
10 Strong problem-solving ability, logical thinking and self-driven
